"absolutely best place I have stayed and unbeleivable value"
The place is amazingly great value and service is personalised, professional and they make you feel right at home .... first impression of the hotel from the outside is small, boutique, and stylish then when you open the door to your room we were amazed by the quality of the furniture, and stunned by the huge flat screen tv, It had the feeling of a privately owned small unit that offered heaps of entertainment from a huge free standing ipod docking station to the outside spa on your very own balcony overlooking the ocean and soon to be marina. I will be staying there everytime i visit airlie beach without fail. Only wish i knew about it for the past several years i have visited!.. our very own rating for price and value is 5 stars and accommodation and service is 5 stars ..... John Styles

“Grand ol' Time”
My girlfriend and I recently stayed there and we didn't have any expectations of what we were getting into, but now we do after staying here. It's set a pretty high bar and we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and best of all the managers looked after us the whole time we were there. I couldn't recommend this place anymore and to top it off the beds are sooo comfy you probably don't even want to see the whitsundays. All in all a great time spent at the waterfront whitsundays and I can't wait to go back. :)

"A must stay"
Although we stayed at Waterfront a couple of years ago, I feel it needs a mention. We stayed for 3 nights and were very happy. Our room was on the upper level and we had absolute privacy on our balcony. The bed is very confortable and the rooms spacious. It is a very short walk to the town centre. The spa on the balcony is large and easily accomodates 2 persons. The only issue was after filling the spa with water and bubbles I got in and turned it on, only to have a cane toad spurt out of one of the jets and start swimming around in the water with me. After I shrieked with terror my husband came rushing out and removed it! It was funny actually and that is Queensland for you! Staff are brilliant, view is not too bad. We were sad to leave and have fond memories. Will stay again if we return to Airlie.

“Great rooms, great service, great location :-)”
I visited Airlie Beach for the first time this year and I booked the Waterfront Whitsundays because of the great reviews online. I wasnt dissapointed at all. The rooms have a new Plasma tv's and the spa on the balcony is a great way to end the day. The service is the best I've experienced for a long time at a hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and the owner/workers went out of their way to make sure anything you needed was taken care of, even follow-up calls to ensure everything was ok. This is definately the best find in a town and highly recommend this to anyone who is visiting Airlie Beach.

"Great room and service"
We only stayed at the Waterfront Whitsunday for one night and chose this property based on its location and the positive reviews here on TripAdvisor.
Before getting into details I have the say the 2 best things about this property are the extremely nice and helpful guys who run it and the kitchens in the rooms.
The hotel has a very personal feel because it has only 6 or 8 rooms. Our room was very big and nice and included a full kitchen with free breakfast provided (cereal and fruit bars). The kitchen comes complete with a fridge, stove, and microwave so you can bring your own groceries and cook your own meals if you want. The bathrooms have been updated and were very clean. Showers had plenty of water pressure. There is even a jacuzzi tub on each of the decks which was a nice touch. On the main deck (that is shared by all guests) they have a BBQ grill and a pool. (The pool was a bit cold when we were there so we didn't use it, but the jacuzzi tub was awesome!)
Airlie Beach is a small backpacker's town and we wanted to be close to Abel Point so we could catch our boat cruise to the Whitsunday Islands the next morning. We figured we would try to take a cab or walk to the marina but the nice guy (forgot to catch his name) who works at the front desk offered us a ride right to the docks so we could hop on our sailboat. This was great!
In summary, we had a very pleasant stay at the Waterfront Whitsunday!

"Beautiful one day and perfect the next!"
A sincere thank you to both Darren & Jeff at Waterfront Whitsunday Retreat for making our Easter stay one will we keep with us forever. I have visited Airlie Beach several times, however this property exudes sheer elegance and boasts an exclusiveness like no other. The service was fantastic and out of the 6 guests who joined me, all of who have travelled on an extensive basis, each of them could only give the highest of compliments. The three-bedroom penthouse was immaculate; the spa, the balcony, the ktichen, the fine dining room and of course, the main shower - all second to none. We felt as if the retreat was our home away from home with all of the added extras. Little things like lazing by the pool and Jeff coming out to put some music on for us and pour us some cold water to an extravagant box of chocolates delivered to us on Easter Sunday - i would highly recommend this property for anyone wishing to visit the Whitsundays. Waterfront Whitsunday made our stay and we intend to return with even more people next time! Magic, exclusive, serene and elegant.

“Stay here!”
The help and service we received from these guys was phenomenal. We had flights cancelled and got in a real mess. They practically sorted out our onward journey and got our holiday back on track. So glad we stayed here...Oh yes, and the room was excellent as well!

“Great place to stay”
I found this hotel online and it did not disappoint. The hotel is in a good spot close to the town you can walk easily in a few minutes to the restaurants and shops. The hotel is modern, the rooms have heaps of space and there is a spa on the balcony of the room and a playstation which was good for the day it rained, oh yeah the mini bar came in handy that day as well. We stayed 4 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The staff are very friendly and always there to help, they really make your time there very enjoyable. The pool is awesome and you can just lounge around, we got talking to another couple around the pool and they also commented on how good the hotel was. My partner liked the shampoo and soaps that they have but overall we both loved our time there. If you want a great place to stay then this hotel is excellent.

“very very good”
We stayed 4 nights at waterfront and the hotel is excellent. It was our first time to Airlie Beach and the guys at the hotel really looked after us, showed us the places to go, drove us into town when it was raining even introduced us to some of the guests who we are now friends with. The hotel has a great pool area and the rooms are large and really modern, they have a big fridge so staying a few days you have space for you own gear. The service is very good here, they clean the room every day and the guys seems to be always ready to help if you need it. The guys booked us on camira which went to Whitehaven beach, an amazing beach on one of the islands were the sand is pure white and the water so clear you can see the bottom, really great day out. We highly recommend this hotel, we have told all our friends about it. It is top notch.

"We will be back for more”
We have just come back form the best Christmas ever even though the hotel is smaller we felt like we were the only people in Airlie Beach. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were fantastic - always willing to help. It was lovely to wake up to the beautiful view and it was great to be able to walk only a few minutes to the beach. We had many hours of just strolling around but found comfort coming back to our room. The prices are great for what you get. There’s nothing like this in Brisbane - We love it up there as this is the first time we have been to Airlie Beach and we will go back for more. This is the best experience I have had at a hotel for a long time.

“Why can't all resorts be like this one!!!”
What can i say even though the weather was not its best when we were up there but the owners managed to help us make the best out of our holidays from recommending activities to bringing us board games just incase we needed them... I will have to say we will miss them...Thanks Guys. Hope you had a good new year....

“Service PLUS”
We stayed in one of the luxury spa apartments for 9 days, it was phenomenal. The service was beyond anything I have experienced previously, they are always on call and prepared to go out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable and convenient. The set up was very modern and clean, the pool is great, views are good and location very close to the city centre. Will definitely be staying there next time we visit :)
